Findlay VW and Vegas Pet Rescue Project team up to help local pets in a Pet of the Month program

Findlay VW Henderson is excited to announce the launch of the Findlay VW Pet of the Month Program, a collaborative effort between the dealership and the Vegas Pet Rescue Project (VPRP). This program is aimed at encouraging pet adoption, enhancing community engagement, and elevating brand image through social responsibility and community involvement. In addition, the program will contribute to preventing unwanted litters, homelessness among animals, and unnecessary euthanizations by promoting the spaying and neutering of pets.

Each month, a VPRP pet will be chosen to be the “Pet of the Month”, and will be featured through the dealership’s outreach platforms in hopes of having the pet adopted by a loving family as soon as possible. The Pet of the Month will go to its new family with a VW-themed “new pet” kit. Findlay VW will also actively participate in VPRP’s spay/neuter program by sponsoring one spay/neuter a month.

Andrea Sifuentes, a Findlay VW intern on the Pet of the Month project says “We are so excited to introduce the Findlay VW Pet of the Month program as a testament to our dedication to our community and our social responsibility to the pet population in Henderson and Las Vegas. We hope to support our partners at the VPRP and make a positive impact in the lives of animals in our city.”

Jaime Gregory with VPRP says “We are excited to collaborate with Findlay VW on this program. The Pet of the Month initiative not only sheds light on the plight of shelter animals but also encourages adoption and community involvement, aligning perfectly with our mission.”
