Findlay Volkswagen Celebrates Bring Your Kid to Work Day 2023

The team at Findlay Volkswagen came together to celebrate Bring Your Kid to Work Day at the dealership this past week as employee kids took over the Community Room for the day.

The youngest members of the Findlay V-Dub family started their day by creating their resumes and business cards. Each child then explained what their parents do at the dealership before taking a tour of every department in the building, hearing firsthand what each employee does to contribute to the success of the business.

After the tour, the children put their skills to work in helping VW porters “detail” a car, followed by using their creativity to make their own version of the Volkswagen logo. They were asked to help problem-solve common workplace issues by developing solutions and steps they would take in implementing plans.

The day wrapped up with a lunch-and-learn before everyone went to job shadow their parents.
