Check out this 1957 VW Double Door Panel Van, loaded with accessories and custom touches. This is not your normal cruiser. The level of detail is high and nearly every part of it has a unique twist to it, from its performance engine to the smallest details, such as the polished stainless hardware. The custom built “Hurst” style brush guard is impressive fabrication and adds a great look to the Bus.This was a full restoration, an “every nut and bolt” job that was completed a few years back and has now been driven over 6000 miles. Many long road trips to big VW events and everything works well on the vehicle.

The pressed bumper is original on the 57 model.
HID headlights and regular high beam lights.
Custom built full length roof rack with side ladder,
Vintage truck mirrors.
17″ Airkewld smoothie wheels with detail painted KDF cog wheel hubcaps.
4″ narrowed beam up front by Wagenswest.
The logos are hand painted over the clear coat.
Hurst rear bumper with trailer hitch.
Type 3 VW hatch installed over the engine for easy access.
Headliner over the front compartment upholstered to match the seats.
Custom knobs and handles and fantastic gauge mounts.
Custom oil coolers mounted under the front, disc brakes, braided lines, all new tie rod ends and bushings, etc.
Mid tranny mount, Wilwood front drilled and slotted brakes running on custom made Nissan hubs built by Russ at OldSpeed KYB shocks
Hankook tires 205/40-17 front 215/45 rear
The engine is impressive in its own right with a displacement of a whopping 2617cc based on a type 4 VW block , all color matched and detailed.
