Although both models offer 4MOTION AWD, the 2018 model’s system features Active Control with Selectable Driving Modes. The 2018 model is 10.7” longer than the previous, offering an optional third row and a 57% increase in cargo space. The 2018 model also offers driver-assistance systems—systems previously unavailable on the Tiguan.

2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Release Date

In addition to a larger body and more technology, the all-new 2018 Tiguan also received a major design overhaul inside and out. On the outside, the Tiguan features a wider, lower stance with sharper, stronger character lines and striking LED lighting. The Tiguan’s interior has been rethought and refreshed with a new cloth seat pattern, the new Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Display, an 8” touchscreen display, and a driver-oriented control center.  

The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan will be available in eight striking, sophisticated color options. Trim level and pricing information has yet to be released for the 2018 Tiguan. Get ready for adventure with all the comfort—the 2018 Tiguan is expected to arrive at dealerships sometime this spring.
