All-wheel drive is an important feature that adds versatility to many vehicles. The added traction that this drive system provides has made it a desirable feature for many car shoppers. Many Volkswagen models offer the 4Motion all-wheel drive system, but does the 2019 Volkswagen Jetta offer all-wheel drive?
The 2019 Jetta will not offer the 4Motion all-wheel drive system. The power from the car’s engine will be sent exclusively to the front wheels. However, many Volkswagen models can be equipped with this system.

2019 Volkswagen Jetta Features and Systems
While 4Motion may not be available on the 2019 Jetta, the car does offer a wide variety of impressive technology systems and features spread out over four trim levels. The car will be offered in S, SE, SEL and SEL Premium models.
Jetta models come equipped with multiple systems designed to increase safety and driver assistance. Available systems include Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking (Front Assist), Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Departure Warning (Lane Assist). Standard equipment includes Volkswagen’s Automatic Post-Collision Braking System. This system automatically applies the brakes when a collision is detected to reduce momentum and minimize further damage.
