2018 Golf Models Interior and Exterior

The bodies of the new Golf cars won’t be too drastically different from their predecessors, as the main differences are more angles and sharper lines. However, all five of the Golf vehicles—Golf, Golf Alltrack, Golf GTI, Golf SportWagen and Golf R—do offer more impressive interior and exterior standard features than the cars that came before them. Standard on all five models, you will find LED taillights and daytime running lights as well as available LED headlights. New wheel designs, body colors, interior panels and materials all come together to make the Golf cars the best they’ve ever been.

2018 Golf Models Technology and Safety Features

The biggest technological update for the Golf family is the new 6.5-inch touchscreen, which replaces the formerly standard 5-inch display as the control panel for the infotainment system. Exclusive to the Golf R is the new Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, which gives the driver the ability to customize the vehicle information on their dashboard to their liking.

The Golf family’s safety features shine brightest in the SE and above trim levels, which generally come with standard Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Traffic Alert. Also available on some of the Golf models are Adaptive Cruise Control, Parking Steering Assistant, Park Distance Control, Lane Departure Warning and more.
