Findlay Volkswagen has partnered with Carbonfund.org to fight climate change through offering to offset the first two years of carbon emissions of each new vehicle sold. Findlay VW has worked with Carbonfund.org to calculate the average emissions of each of its vehicle models and will make a donation to plant enough trees to remove an equivalent amount of CO2 from the atmosphere. The trees will be planted in Louisiana and will be certified as carbon offsets.

Carbonfund.org is a 501(c)(3) organization that engages individuals and businesses in solutions to climate change by promoting its, “Reduce what you can, offset what you can’t”TM message. It enables any business or individual the opportunity to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions by supporting projects that reduce CO2 emissions through renewable energy, energy efficiency, and reforestation.
